Triangle House Literary, a boutique literary agency representing distinct voices in literary fiction and non-fiction, is growing. With an eye to the future of publishing and the future of author representation, we’re looking to add an agent to our small team.

If you’re entrepreneurial, independent, and have what your publishing colleagues and friends call unique taste, Triangle House Literary might be a good home for you. Especially if you’ve ever wondered why the industry runs the way it does. Our intent is to grow carefully, responsibly, and mindful of the challenges posed by the publishing industry. We’re looking for an agent who:

-is looking for a flexible workplace

-is relatively independent, but enjoys mentorship and discussions about the nuances of agenting

-has creative solutions to the problems literary agents face

-is actively building a dynamic and unique list

-is engaged in conversations about justice, in the publishing world and out

-asks for help, and offers it

-enjoys negotiating contracts

-is a nice person
